A passion project and a love letter to thrifting—its cheapness, its sustainability, its localness, and the pure weird fun of digging through the refuse of a culture. I created, shot, and hosted this ten episode series over the course of a couple summers.

With a different guest, musical tracks, and a unique title treatment for each episode, the project was a space to experiment creatively, while promoting the pleasures and virtues of second hand shopping.

From humble second-hand stores to vintage boutiques to an outdoor flea market, the series explored the many ways that individuals can share and exchange goods within the community.

The show, like thrifting itself, is a mess: nothing is perfect, at times it’s tedious, but it’s still rewarding, at least for those of us who worked on the series—including three editors, two designers, a couple of musicians, and a lot of comedians.
